Ingredients

  • 3 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water (110-115°)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups bread flour

Directions

1. In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in the water. In processor, add the oil, sugar, salt, yeast mixture and one cup of the flour. Blend together and add remaining flour until the dough forms a ball. Knead on a floured surface for 6-8 minutes. Place in a bowl covered with cooking spray. Cover and let rise in a warm place until it doubled, approximately one hour.
2. Punch dough down, divide in half. Roll each into a 13 inch circle. Transfer to two 14 inch pizza pans that have been coated with cooking spray. Build up edges. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes. Add your favorite topping and bake at 450° for approximately 15-20 minutes.
