Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic-minced
- 1 fr ginger 2" peeled and cut
- 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 fresh jalapenos, minced
- 1 cup nonfat plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 ½ pounds peeled shrimp
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- 2 sprigs mint
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 4 pieces cilantro
Directions
1. In food processor, combine garlic, ginger, lime juice, turmeric, cumin, salt, jalapenos, paprika, and yogurt. Process until blended. Add shrimp and coat evenly and marinate for about an hour. Grill for 2 minutes on one side, turn and grill for an additional 2 minutes. Sprinkle with paprika, serve with sauce (below) and lime wedges. |
2. Blend in processor, all ingredients. Serve with shrimp. |
