Ingredients

  • 3 pounds roma tomatoes
  • 1 white onion-small, cut in 1 inch pieces
  • 8 garlic cloves
  • 5-7 jalapenos
  • ½-1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • salt, to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to broil. Grill tomatoes, onion, garlic, peppers. Broil for five minutes. Remove the garlic. Flip the items over and grill another five minutes. Cool slightly. Peel the tomatoes.
Add all ingredients to processor and pulse until chopped.
