Ingredients
- 2 large onions-sliced and then quartered, approx 3 cups
- ⅛ cup EVOO
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, to taste
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, optional
Directions
Saute the onions in EVOO and butter over medium for 10 minutes with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Reduce to a simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool the onions. With mixer, mix the remaining ingredients. Add onions and mix well. Adjust seasoning as needed. Serve with potato chips. |
