Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 teaspoons salt
  • 8 cups flour

Directions

1. In mixing bowl, beat eggs and stir in milk and salt. Add enough of the flour to make a very stiff dough. You may need to add more flour or not use the full amount.
2. Let dough rest for 30 minutes.
3. Roll out dough into 5-6 pieces. Let dry for 2-3 hours. If you do not have that much time. Place in a 250° oven on a cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes.
4. Cut into noodles approximately 1/2 inch wide.
5. If you would like thick chicken noodle soup, cook the noodles in your chicken broth.
6. If you would like a thinner broth, cook the noodles in boiling water, then add to the chicken broth.
7. Cook approximately 6-8 minutes.
