Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- ½ cup butter
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 3 3/4 instant vanilla pudding mix, oz
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 6 ounces chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 6 ounces heavy cream
Directions
Combine 1/2 c butter, sugar, cocoa, and vanilla in a double boiler. Cook over simmering water until butter melts. Stir in egg. Continue cooking and stirring until thick, around three minutes. Blend in crumbs and coconut. Press into butter 9 in square pan lined with foil. Cream 1/2 c butter well. Stir in milk, pudding, and powdered sugar. Beat until fluffy. Spread over crust and chill until firm. Melt chocolate and butter, add cream. Add to bars and chill. |
