Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons dry active yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 2.5-3 cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 large egg

Directions

Combine yeast, sugar and water. Let stand 5 minutes.
Combine one cup flour with the salt. Next add the yeast mixture and remaining ingredients. Continue adding flour 1/2 cup at a time, approximately 2.5 cups total.
Ball the dough and knead for 3 minutes. Add the last of the flour is needed.
Loosely cover the dough and let is rise about 45 minutes. Should double.
Shape each piece into a small ball by stretching the dough back under itself until the top is smooth and round. Working with one at a time, roll out to a 6 inch diameter. Grill on griddle. Medium heat works the best.
