Ingredients
- 4 cups bread flour
- 250 ml milk
- 1 package yeast
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 ¼ teaspoons salt
- 1 egg-beaten
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 200 ml yogurt
Directions
Mix 1/2 the milk that has been heated to 110-115° with yeast and let it rest. Combine yogurt, oil and egg together. Mix together dry ingredients in bowl. Add yogurt mixture, yeast mixture, and remaining milk. Blend until all is incorporated. Knead 5 minutes and place in oiled bowl and cover with damp cloth. Let rise in warm area. Punch down and give the dough another quick knead. Divide into 10 balls. Roll out pieces WITHOUT flour until thin. On hot griddle, cook on each side until golden brown. Serve warm with butter. |
