Ingredients

  • ½ cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 cups garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Juice of lemon, 2-3 tablespoons
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon dried dill
  • ½ teaspoon dried tarragon
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¼ cup vegetable broth

Directions

Place all ingredients, except the broth, in a blender or processor and process until smooth. Add the broth a tablespoon at a time until it is soft and spreadable. Serve with warmed pita bread.
