Ingredients

  • 8 cups flour
  • 2 packages dry yeast
  • 2 cups warm water (100-110°)
  • ¾ cup oil
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 3 eggs

Directions

In a large mixer bowl combine 4 cups flour and yeast. Combine the water, cooking oil, sugar and salt. Add eggs and beat at low speed with mixer for half minute and then 3 minutes at high speed. By hand, stir in 4 cups flour to make a soft dough. Knead till smooth and elastic, about ten minutes. Let rise until doubled in size, about an hour. Shape into hamburger buns. Let rise until doubled in size again. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes.
