Ingredients
- 1 cup Elbow mac
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups milk
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 16 ounces ground beef
- ½ cup buttered bread crumbs
Directions
Cook mac according to directions. Drain. Place in a buttered casserole. Melt butter in double boiler. Add flour and salt and blend. Add milk slowly until sauce thickens. Add shredded cheese. Brown hamburger in skillet and drain off excess fat. Combine mac and hamburger in casserole. Add sauce and top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. |
