Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean ground beef (80% lean)
- 2 large yellow onions-chopped
- 3 cloves garlic-grated
- 3 cups water
- 30 ounces tomato sauce
- 29 ounces diced tomatoes
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
- 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
Directions
1. Brown ground beef for approximately 10 minutes. Skim off fat and add onion and garlic. Saute for another 10 minutes. Stir in water, tomato sauce, tomatoes, soy sauce, seasoning. Bring to a boil over medium heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. |
2. Stir in macaroni, cover and simmer 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. |
