Ingredients
- ¾ cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- ¾ teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¾ teaspoon ginger
- 2 cups flour
- ¼ cup molasses
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°. Beat shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and molasses. Mix in dry ingredients. Shape into a size of a walnut and roll in sugar. Bake for 12-15 minutes. |
