Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups corn flakes, crumbed
  • 16 ounces fresh crabmeat, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • 1.5 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 teaspoons unsalted butter

Directions

Lay out the Corn Flake crumbs on large sheet. Combine mayo, seasoning, mustard, pepper and yolk. Add crabmeat and mix carefully. Ball six of them tight with an ice cream scoop. Release from scoop and carefully roll in Corn Flake crumbs. Divide the butter into 6 equal pieces. Slightly push the butter piece into the top of the cake. Place on a lined cookie sheet and bake at 375° for 7-10 minutes.
