Ingredients

  • 3.5 cups warm water
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup oil
  • 6 tablespoons yeast
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 10.5 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 2 dashes of salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 6 cups powdered sugar
  • milk

Directions

In your mixing bowl, add warm water, sugar, oil, and yeast. Mix a bit and let sit for 15 minutes.
Add salt, eggs, and flour. Put the lid on and mix for 10 minutes. Turn off and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Oil your surface, no flour. Dump your dough and divide by two. Make two rectangles with your hands, no rolling pin. Melt 1/2 stick of butter and pour it onto the dough. Spread with hand. Spread the sugar mixture. Roll up jelly style, but NOT TOO tight.
Cut into 24 equal pieces and place on rimmed cookie sheet lined with parchment paper on the bottom. Let them rise.
Bake at 400° for 12-14 minutes. They should be brown on the top. Let them cool a bit.
For frosting: put powdered sugar in the mixer, with butter, salt, and vanilla. Slowly, add milk and the frosting is spreadable but a bit runny.
