Ingredients

  • 1 package celery , sliced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup bean sprouts, drained
  • 4 ounces canned mushroom pieces, drained
  • 7 ounces sliced waterchestnuts, drained
  • 2 cups cooked and diced chicken
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • ¼ cup water
  • 10 ounces chicken broth
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • hot rice
  • chow mein noodles

Directions

1. In a large pot, saute celery and onion in the oil for approximately 5-8 minutes. Add bean sprouts, mushrooms, water chestnuts, and chicken.
2. Mix in a large bowl, cornstarch and water until blended. Add the broth and soy sauce. Add to mixture in large pot. Bring to a boil, stirring. Reduce to a simmer for 10-15 minutes. Serve with rice and chow mein noodles.
