Ingredients

  • 2 cups 1/2 and 1/2
  • 2 egg yolk, lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 ½ cups semi sweet choc chips, (20 ounces)
  • 2 tablespoons Amaretto
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • pinch salt
  • 1 cup sweetened whip cream
  • chocolate shavings

Directions

1. Combine 1/2 and 1/2, yolks and sugar in heavy pan, cook over medium heat 12 minutes or until 160°, stirring constantly. Add chips, Amaretto, vanilla and salt. Stir until smooth.
2. Spoon into red champagne glasses and chill at least 4 hours. To serve, top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
