Ingredients

  • 2 romaine hearts, cut in half
  • ¼ cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic-grated
  • ½ tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • homemade croutons if desired

Directions

For the dressing, combine all the ingredients with the exception of the lettuce and croutons. Heat grill, spray with non-stick cooking spray. Grill the lettuce, cut side down for 4-5 minutes. Remove from grill. Drizzle with dressing, top with croutons extra shaved cheese if desired.
