Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground sage
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

Directions

Combine all items in a bowl. Divide the mixture in half. Shape into logs. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill until firm, at least one hour or over night.
Unwrap logs and slice into 12 patties. Fry in skillet that had been cooked with cooking spray. Cook, turning once until completely done.
