Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 1.5 teaspoons sage
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

Combine all ingredients. Divide sausage mixture in half and shape into logs. Wrap in plastic and chill until firm, 1 hour or overnight. Slice into 12 patties and fry.
