Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 ½ cups vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups chopped apples
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons milk
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour bundt pan. |
2. Beat sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until fluffy. Stir in flour, salt and baking soda until smooth. Stir in apples. Pour batter into pan. |
3. Bake 1 hour to 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool 20 minutes. Remove from pan and place on wire rack. Spoon glaze over warm cake. |
4. Glaze: Heat all ingredients to boiling in saucepan. Boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly; remove from heat. |
