Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 ½ cups vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups chopped apples
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons milk

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour bundt pan.
2. Beat sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until fluffy. Stir in flour, salt and baking soda until smooth. Stir in apples. Pour batter into pan.
3. Bake 1 hour to 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool 20 minutes. Remove from pan and place on wire rack. Spoon glaze over warm cake.
4. Glaze: Heat all ingredients to boiling in saucepan. Boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly; remove from heat.
