Ingredients

  • 3 pounds apples-peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • cup flour
  • cup sugar
  • cup oats
  • 4 tablespoons butter

Directions

Once the apples are peeled and sliced, mix with the lemon juice. Combine the brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Once mixed, add the apples. Put into a greased 9 inch square pan. Combine the flour, sugar and oats. Cut in butter until blended. Spread over the apples. Bake at 375° for 30-45 minutes.
