Ingredients

  • 8 Honeycrisp apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • grated rind of 1/2 lemon
  • Topping
  • 1 cup flour
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

Combine topping ingredients, cut in butter until crumbly.
Mix the first six ingredients and pour into a 9x13 greased pan.
Top with topping mixture.
Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
Serve with cream or ice cream
