Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 4 cups apples, peeled and chopped
- Caramel Sauce
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Cake-cream sugar, butter and eggs. Add dry ingredients, stir in apples. Bake in a greased 9x13 pan at 350° for 45 minutes. Caramel sauce-Boil together all but the vanilla, stirring constantly. Add vanilla. |
