Ingredients

  • 1 quart strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Directions

In a saucepan, combine the berries, sugar, water, lemon zest and juice, and cornstarch. Bring to a simmer and whisk gently until mixture thickens slightly.
