Ingredients
- 9 ounce package refrigerated Italian Sausage-filled ravioli
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, cut into 1/4 inch wedges
- ½ cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 14 oz can diced pealed tomatoes, undrained
- ½ teaspoon dried basil leaves
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- dash cayenne pepper
Directions
1. Cook ravioli to desired doneness as directed on package. drain; keep warm |
2. Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Add onion, bell pepper and garlic; cook 3 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender,stirring occasionally. Add tomatoes, basil, salt and ground red pepper. bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 3 to 5 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened. Stir in cooked ravioli; cook an additional 2 to 4 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring frequently. |
