Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1/2 the pizza dough above
  • 2 tablespoons softened butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 ounces grated mozzarella cheese

Directions

In a mixer with a dough hook, stir yeast and honey into warm water. Sit for 5-10 minutes. Pour in salt, oil and half the flour and mix. Once mixed, add the remaining flour, a small amount at a time. Once incorporated, mix for 6 minutes. Put in greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let rise 1-2 hours. Use on a preheated pizza stone on the bottom on the oven at 500°.
Roll out half the dough on parchment paper. Put on preheated stone. Spread with the butter/garlic mixture. Top with Parmesan cheese, then mozzarella cheese. Bake until golden brown.
