Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- ½-¾ cups flour
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 pkg packet instant yeast
- 1 ¼ cups warm water, to 1.5 cups
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
Mix yeast in with the 3 cups of flour, salt, and sugar. Add oil and 1 1/4 cup water and stir together with a wooden spoon. This mixture should form a ball, add more water if needed to form a ball. Need dough for 10 minutes. Can use a dough hook on low for 10 minutes as well. Add more flour so the dough is not sticky, but should be tacky. Put the ball of dough in an oiled bowl, cover and let rise for 90 minutes. Punch down and make into 8 balls. Cover with a damp towel and let rest for 20 minutes. Preheat oven to 450° with a stone on the middle shelf. Roll out dough to 6 inches, 1/4 inch thick. Put on parchment paper and let rise 30-45 minutes-uncovered. Bake on stone for approximately 3 minutes. |
