Ingredients

  • 2 bunches beets
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups vinegar
  • 2 cups beet water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cloves

Directions

Cook washed, small beets until tender. Cold dip and slip off skins. Make syrup with remaining ingredients, cut beets into slices and add to syrup Simmer 15 minutes. Seal in hot jars.
