Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • cup flour
  • 5 peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

1. Combine 2 cups of flour and salt. Cut in shortening. Whisk egg and water together. Sprinkle over flour mixture and mix to form a dough. Roll into 9x13 piece. Put into the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
2. Filling: Combine the sugar and 1/3 cup flour. Add the peaches. Spread evenly over the crust. Pour over the whip cream and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 20 minutes at 425° for 20 minutes. Reduce the oven to 350° and continue to bake for 25 additional minutes. Let set for at least 25 minutes before serving.
