Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup shortening
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons cold water
- 1 cup sugar
- ⅓ cup flour
- 5 peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup whipping cream
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
1. Combine 2 cups of flour and salt. Cut in shortening. Whisk egg and water together. Sprinkle over flour mixture and mix to form a dough. Roll into 9x13 piece. Put into the bottom of a 9x13 pan. |
2. Filling: Combine the sugar and 1/3 cup flour. Add the peaches. Spread evenly over the crust. Pour over the whip cream and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 20 minutes at 425° for 20 minutes. Reduce the oven to 350° and continue to bake for 25 additional minutes. Let set for at least 25 minutes before serving. |
