Ingredients
- 6 3-4 pounds meaty lamb shanks
- salt, pepper
- flour and paprika
- 1 can beef broth
- 1 medium onion-chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 2 16oz each canned tomatoes
- 2 14.5 oz green beans
Directions
Heat oven to 400°. Put the salt and pepper on the shanks, roll in flour to coat and put in roaster pan. Sprinkle with paprika. Add remaining ingredients except the beans and bake 2-2.5 hours, stirring occasionally. Skim off fat. Add beans to heat through. |
