Ingredients

  • 2 pounds serrano chilies
  • garlic clove
  • ½ large onion
  • 16 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
  • 1-2 tablespoon salt

Directions

Mince the garlic, dice the onion. Remove seeds from peppers and in processor mix garlic, onion, peppers, salt, and tomato sauce. Place the mixture in a frying pan. Cook on low to medium heat until simmering. Add vinegar. Strain into jar.
