Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon hot pepper flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons minced ginger

Directions

Mix together soy, vinegar, sugar, flakes, and pepper.
Heat skillet over high heat. Add beans and 1/4 cup of water. Cover, stir once and cook 3-4 minutes. Uncover. Cook until water is gone. Add oil, garlic and ginger to pan, stir fry 1-2 minutes. Stir in soy mixture. Bring to boil, cook one to two minutes. Serve hot or cold.
