Ingredients

  • 2 quarts oil for frying
  • 8 4 ounce pieces of cod
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons paparika
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 egg-beaten
  • 12 ounces beer

Directions

Heat oil to 365°. Season cod. Mix dry ingredients, add egg and slowly add beer. Fry, turning once.
