Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup half and half
  • ¾ cup flour
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400°. In 9x13 glass cake pan, melt the 1/4 cup of butter in preheating oven. Whisk together eggs and salt. Add 3/4 cup 1/2 and 1/2 and flour. Pour into cake pan, place in the center of the oven and bake 20-25 minutes. Serve with butterscotch sauce.
2. Sauce=combine heavy cream, 3 tablespoons butter, corn syrup and brown sugar in saucepan. Boil for 3 minutes. Serve warm.
