Ingredients
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 ½ cups yellow onion, diced
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 3 cans 14.5 oz each whole plum tomatoes, crushed
- ½ cup reserved meatball pan drippings
- ½ cup fresh parsley, minced
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- to taste Kosher salt
- 1 pound pasta-cooked
- ¼ cup fresh basil, cut into strips
- 12 meatballs
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- freshly grated Parmesan
- 16 ounces cooked spaghetti noodles
Directions
Saute onion in olive oil until tender. Add garlic and continue to saute for 1 minute. Add remaining ingredients over medium high heat. When the mixture begins to boil, add 16 ounces of cooked spaghetti noodles. Cover and simmer 25 minutes. Serve with grated Parmesan Cheese. |
