Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 skinless boneless chicken breast
- 8 ounces cream cheese, cut in 1/2" slices
- 8 ounces Cheddar cheese, cut in 1/2 " slices
- 1 cup milk
- 1.5 cups seasoned bread crumbs, Italian
- ½ cup Romano grated cheese
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- ¾ cup butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- ½ teaspoon paprika
Directions
Lightly coat a large shallow baking dish with oil. Butterfly each breast. Place one slice of cheddar and cream cheese in each breast. Close as if placing between the pages of a book. Pour milk in shallow bowl. Combine breadcrumbs and Romano in another bowl. Dip chicken into milk and then breadcrumb mixture, then put in baking dish, tucking edges under to seal. Melt butter, stir in lemon juice and garlic. Drizzle over chicken. Season chicken with garlic salt and paprika. Bake at 350° for approximately 30 minutes. |
