Ingredients

  • 2 skinless boneless chicken breast
  • ½ cup apple , chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon Italian dried bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ¼ cup dry white wine
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 ½ teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Directions

Combine apple, cheese, and bread crumbs. Set aside.

Flatten chicken to 1/4 inch thick. (between wax paper)

Divide mixture between breasts and roll up. Secure with toothpicks.

Melt butter in skillet. Brown the breasts. Add wine and water. (1/4 cup) Cover, simmer 15-20 minutes.

Transfer to platter. Combine 1 T water and cornstarch; stir in pan. Cook until thick. Pour over chicken.
