Ingredients
- 2 skinless boneless chicken breast
- ½ cup apple , chopped
- 2 tablespoons cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon Italian dried bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ¼ cup dry white wine
- ¼ cup water
- 1 ½ teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
Directions
Combine apple, cheese, and bread crumbs. Set aside. Flatten chicken to 1/4 inch thick. (between wax paper) Divide mixture between breasts and roll up. Secure with toothpicks. Melt butter in skillet. Brown the breasts. Add wine and water. (1/4 cup) Cover, simmer 15-20 minutes. Transfer to platter. Combine 1 T water and cornstarch; stir in pan. Cook until thick. Pour over chicken. |
