Ingredients
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 14.5 ounces chicken broth
- 2 whole cloves
- 2 green cardamom pods
- 1 tablespoon cumin seed
- 1 cinnamon stick
- small onion, thinly sliced
- 2 pcs lemon peel
Directions
Soak rice for 20 minutes, drain. Heat 2 T oil, add the spices and saute for one minute. Add rice and stir for a minute, then add onion. Add broth, bring to boil, add lemon peel, cover, simmer for 15 minutes. |
