Ingredients

  • ½ cup light soy sauce
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons minced ginger
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 ½ pounds flank steak
  • napa cabbage leaves
  • bean sprouts
  • julienned red peppers
  • julienned carrots
  • snow peas
  • fresh basil
  • fresh mint

Directions

Combine first 8 ingredients in ziploc bag. Score the steak and add to marinade for at least 2 hours. Drain and boil the marinade for about 10 minutes. Strain and set aside. Pat meat dry. Grill on high for 6 minutes uncovered. Baste with marinade and flip meat and grill uncovered for 5 minutes. Baste again and flip, grilling for 5 minutes. Remove meat and let it rest 5 minutes. Serve with remaining items and drizzle each wrap with remaining marinade.
