Ingredients
- ½ cup flour
- ½ cup cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon pepper
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup oil
- 1 pound fillets
- more flour
- eggs
Directions
Heat butter and oil in large skillet until hot. Rinse fillets; pat dry. Sprinkle lightly wih flour. Dip in beaten egg and then in coating. Fry over medium heat and brown on both sides. 6-8 minutes total. |
