Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla
- ¾ cup strong coffee
- 1-2 tablespoon coffee liquor
- 10.5 ounces loaf angel food cake
- 1.55 ounces milk choc bar
- ½ pint fresh strawberries
Directions
Line a loaf pan with a sheet of plastic wrap, about 24 inches long. Beat cream cheese, sugar, cream, and vanilla together until smooth. Combine coffee and liquor. Slice cake horizontally into 4 layers using a serrated knife. Brush coffee mixture over both sides of all layers. Place one layer in the bottom of the loaf pan and spread with 1/3 cup of cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with one quarter of the chocolate. Repeat layers. Cover with plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Invert on plate and top with remaining cream cheese mixture. Add the remaining chocolate. Garnish with strawberries. |
