Ingredients
- 1 stick of butter
- 8 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- nutmeg, pinch
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 24 ounces fresh spinach
Directions
Melt butter, whisk flour until golden brown. Add onion and garlic. Whisk in milk, stirring constantly for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. In separate pan, melt 3 T butter, add spinach, cook until wilted. Add spinach to sauce. |
