Ingredients

  • 3 pounds jumbo shrimp, deveined,, peeled
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons minced cilantro leaves
  • 1 teaspoon paparika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • skewers

Directions

In blender, process oils, lemon juice, onion, garlic, ginger, cilantro, paprika, salt and pepper until smooth. Reserve a bit for basting. Marinade shrimp in the remaining for 2 hours, refrigerated.
Thread on skewers, grill 2-3 minutes each side, basting with remaining marinade.
