Ingredients
- 3 pounds beef short ribs, trimmed and seasoned with salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ½ cup chopped scallions
- ¼ cup minced fresh ginger
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup rice wine vinegar
- ¼ cup Sriraha sauce
- ¼ cup molasses
- ¼ cup hoisin sauce
- ¼ cup fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Directions
1. Brown ribs in oil in a large saute pan over medium-high heat about 10 minutes. Work in batches if necessary. |
2. Transfer the browned ribs to a 4-6 quart slow cooker. |
3. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over the ribs. |
4. Cover the slow cooker and cook until tender, on high 4-6 hours or on low 7-9 hours. |
