Ingredients

  • 1 cup white Karo syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 5-6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 12 ounces chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons shortening

Directions

Butter a 9 x 13 glass dish. Heat to a slow boil-syrup and sugar. Add peanut butter. Remove from heat and add the cereal. Spread into pan. Melt chips and shortening in microwave and spead on bars.
