Ingredients
- 16 ounces bow tie pasta, cooked to directions
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 orange bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 pound bulk sweet Italian sausage
- 14.5 ounces stewed tomatoes, canned
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Saute onion, pepper, and garlic about five minutes. Stir in crumbled sausage and cook until is cooked through. Stir in tomatoes and cream. Turn heat to medium-low, and allow the sauce to cook until thick, about 5 minutes. Mix in the pasta and Parmesan Cheese. |
