Ingredients

  • 16 ounces bow tie pasta, cooked to directions
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 orange bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 pound bulk sweet Italian sausage
  • 14.5 ounces stewed tomatoes, canned
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Saute onion, pepper, and garlic about five minutes. Stir in crumbled sausage and cook until is cooked through. Stir in tomatoes and cream. Turn heat to medium-low, and allow the sauce to cook until thick, about 5 minutes.
Mix in the pasta and Parmesan Cheese.
