Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 26 ounces pasta sauce
- 16 ounces mozzarella, shredded
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 4-7 no-cook lasagna noodles
- 2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
Directions
Cook the beef, green pepper, and onion over medium heat, drain. Stir in pasta sauce, heat through. In bowl, combine the mozzarella and ricotta cheeses, and seasonings. Spread one cup meat sauce in oval crock pot. Break noodles into three pieces and fit into crock pot. Layer 1 1/3 noodles over the sauce, fit as needed. Top with 2/3 cup of meat sauce and one cup cheese mixture. Repeat layers, twice. Top with remaining sauce. Cover and cook on low 4-5 hours. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover and cook 15 minutes longer. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. |
