Ingredients

  • 4 washed/unpeeled russet potatoes, cut into fries

Directions

As cutting the potatoes, put into a bowl of water. (cut about the size of McDonald fries) Once all potatoes are cut, drain the water. Add fresh water, cover and refrigerate in water bowl for one hour. Drain the potatoes and completely dry them with paper towels. Heat canola oil (approximately 3 inches) in large fry pan. Heat to 375° using a digital gauge. Fry for four minutes and remove from oil. Just before ready to serve, heat the same oil to 375° and refry the fries for 2 minutes. Remove from oil and season with salt. Serve hot!
