Ingredients

  • 1 cup 90° water
  • 2 packages 1/4 oz dry yeast
  • 2.5 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions

1. Place water in a bowl, add yeast and let rest for 10 minutes.
2. In processor, mix 2 cups of flour and the yeast mixture. Add the 1/2 remaining flour in 3 batches. The dough should be a ball.
3. Using the oil, completely coat the bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let set for approximately one and a quarter hour or until the dough is doubled in size. Punch dough down.
4. Coat a tart pan with oil and transfer dough to the tart pan. Shape into the tart pan to over. Using our finger, make dents in the dough. Brush with additional oil.
5. Bake at 400° for 25-30 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in the pan.
